Click Join Now at the bottom of the page.

You will now find yourself on the HP wqelcome page. Click My Album on the left hand side of the page.

This will take you to a page that contains a Starter Collection. To the right is a menu titled Album Tools.

Click Create new Album.

Name the album in the proper space then click Browse. When you do, a window will pop up. This is from your hard drive where your photos are stored on your computer. Mine opens in download which is not where my photos are stored. Yours may open straight to My Documents. If yours opens in Download (or anyplace else other than My Documents) then click the down arrow to the right and choose My Documents. If you have created a new folder to store your photos in, you will find them to the left of the window. Click the appropriate folder, or if you have stored them in My Documents then just follow the menu until you have located the photo ou wish to upload. Highlight the selection, then click Open.

The URL for the pic will appear in the Browse box. Do this for up to four photos at a time if you wish. Once all the boxes that you want to fill are filled, click Save.

Your photo(s) will appear on a new page. There will be a blank space below each pic. Click View below the photo. This will bring the photo to a page that allows you to name the photo if you wish. You can fill in all of the blanks, some of the blanks, or none or the blanks below the enlarged photo. If you fill in any of the blanks, click on the arrow to the right of the space to update the page.

Once the page is updated click the Create Link for Auction button to the right. This will bring up a window with a URL address in it. Click the Highlight Text button. Once the text is highlighted, put your cursor over the highlighted text and click. Choose Copy.

DO NOT USE THE FIND PROPERTIES METHOD FOR COPYING THE URL!!!!

Leave the HP window open for now.

How do I upload the image into the text portion of the message?

Open up the appropriate forum then go to Add a Message or Reply to Message area. Begin your message or reply

When you are aready to insert your photo, put the flashing cursor where you would like the photo to appear.

Type <img src=" then immediately after the quote, place the flasing cursor and right-click. Choose Paste. The URL from HP Photo should appear. Immediately after the url, type ">. Your code will look like this:

If you wish to post more than one photo at a time per message, then put the cursor where you want the second photo to appear in the text and follow the above directions using a different URL.

Choose Preview Message. When the preview appears, your photo should show in the preview page. If it does not, then click Back to correct any errors.

If your photo appears correctly and you do not wish to add another photo, close the HP Photo window.
